How do I log call outcomes and notes?

This guide walks you to step by step logging in and update information of your call session.

Adding new notes

  1. To log new information, type directly into the Notes field.

  2. If the contact has made a pledge commitment, enter the:

    • Pledge amount

    • Pledge type (Hard or Soft Commitment)

    • Due date (to trigger a follow-up reminder)

  3. Click Save Interaction to record the update.

  4. All details will be displayed in the Interaction History.

Note: Each update records the name of the user who made the changes as shown below.

Sending follow up messages (email and text)

  1. To send a follow-up message, type your message in the New Message field. If you’d like to send an email instead, just switch to the Email tab (next to the Text tab). Don’t forget to fill in the Subject line before sending.

  2. To save time on recurring follow-ups, you can choose a predefined Template from the dropdown menu.

  3. To personalize the message, use Merge Fields, which automatically insert specific details about recipients such as their nickname or last donation amount.

  4. Once everything is set, click Send to deliver the message.
