How do I send or schedule an email campaign?

Raise More gives you the flexibility to send an email campaign immediately or schedule it for a later time that fits your outreach plan. This feature allows teams to prepare messages in advance and ensure they reach donors at optimal moments. It’s especially useful for coordinating around events or managing communications across time zones, helping improve timing and overall engagement without requiring manual effort at the time of sending.

How to send a new email campaign?

To get started with creating an email campaign, refer to the detailed guide to “How do I create email campaigns?”. In a nutshell, to create a new email campaign, hover the cursor over to Email and click New Campaign.

If no date is selected, the email campaign will be sent immediately by default. To send an email campaign immediately, click the blue Finalize button at the bottom (after saving other fields including the campaign name, recipients, from, subject and message content). Click the red Send button to start the email campaign immediately.

Tip: To save an email campaign as a draft, hover the cursor over to Email and click New Campaign. Fill out the fields and click Save Draft for each field.

How to schedule an email campaign?

Raise More allows you to easily schedule new and saved email campaigns. Here is how you can do it:

  1. In the Send time field, select the date on which you want to schedule the campaign

  2. Type in the time fields right after date selection field

  3. Click the blue Save Draft button

  4. Click the blue Finalize button

  5. Click the red Schedule button and press OK to confirm. The email campaign will be saved and scheduled for the set date/time

How to schedule or send email campaigns saved as drafts?

The process for sending or scheduling email campaigns saved as drafts is fairly similar to sending or scheduling a new email campaign. Hover the cursor over to Email and click All Campaigns. In the name column, click the campaign name link (status in the second column should be Draft).

If there are too many email campaign records, using filters can help you quickly narrow down the list and find the specific campaign you're looking for. To filter email campaigns by status:

  1. Click the blue Filter button at the top right

  2. Click Narrow records

  3. Select Status in the first field

  4. Select “is” in the second field

  5. Select Draft in the third field

  6. The system will display all email campaigns saved as a draft

  7. Find the email campaign you want to send or schedule and click its name (the Name column)

  8. Re-check all other fields and click the blue Finalize button at the bottom (under Review and Send)

  9. Click the red Send button to start the email campaign immediately

To schedule an email campaign saved as a draft:

  1. In the Send time field, select the date on which you want to schedule the campaign

  2. Type in the time fields right after date selection field

  3. Click the blue Save Draft button

  4. Click the blue Finalize button

  5. Click the red Schedule button and press OK

How to reschedule an email campaign?

You can easily reschedule an already scheduled email campaign. To filter scheduled email campaigns:

  1. Click the blue Filter button at the top right

  2. Click Narrow records

  3. Select Status in the first field

  4. Select “is” in the second field

  5. Select Scheduled in the third field

  6. The system will display all email campaigns that have been scheduled

  7. Click the campaign name link in the Name column

  8. Click the blue Unschedule and Edit button and then click OK (Clicking the OK button will unschedule the email campaign and revert its status back to a draft)

  9. In the Send time field, select the date on which you want to reschedule the campaign

  10. Type in the time fields right after date selection field

  11. Click the blue Save Draft button

  12. Click the blue Finalize button

Click the red Schedule button. The email campaign will be saved and rescheduled
