Your login is separate from the organizations you can access. One login can belong to more than one organization, and you move between them with the organization switcher. If you landed in the wrong place, you usually fix it by switching to the right organization, not by creating a new account.
How organizations work
An organization is a single campaign or account. Its contacts, lists, donations, and dialer sessions all belong to that one organization. Your email and password stay the same no matter how many organizations you can access.
The organization switcher sits at the top of the left sidebar and shows the name of the organization you are working in now. "Joined the wrong organization" usually means one of two things:
You are switched into the wrong organization, but you also have access to the right one.
You created or were added to an organization you should not be in.
Step 1: Try switching organizations
Most of the time you do not need to leave anything. You just point yourself at the correct organization.
Find the organization name at the top of the left sidebar.
Click it to open the switcher.
If the correct organization is in the list, click it. The app switches you and takes you to your home dashboard.
If the right organization is in the list, you are done. If it is not, go to the next steps.
Step 2: Get an invitation to the right organization
If the organization you need is not in your switcher, you have not been added to it yet. Ask the account owner or an admin on that campaign to invite you, using the exact email address you log in with. You will get an email with a link to accept. After you accept, the organization appears in your switcher.
If the invite goes to a different email than the one you sign in with, it creates a separate login instead of adding the organization to your existing one. Confirm the email address before they send it.
Step 3: Handle a duplicate or wrong organization
If you created a new organization during sign-up instead of joining your team's existing one, stop building in it. Switch into your team's real organization once you have access, and tell support about the extra one so it can be cleaned up.
If you were added to an organization you should not be in, open the organization profile from the switcher (the manage or settings option). From there you can view your membership and leave the organization yourself, as long as you are not the only admin. If you are the only admin, or you are not sure whether leaving is safe, contact support first.
When to contact support
Reach out when you need help that you cannot do from the switcher or the organization profile:
You still cannot get into the correct organization after being invited.
You created a duplicate organization and need it removed.
You cannot leave an organization because you are the only admin.
You are not sure which organization is the real one for your campaign.
You have two logins by accident and need them sorted out.
Message us through the in-app chat (the messenger bubble in the bottom corner) or email support@raisemore.app. Include your login email and the name of the organization involved.
FAQ
Will switching organizations delete any of my data?
No. Switching only changes which organization's data you are viewing. Each organization's contacts, lists, and donations stay where they are.
I have two logins by accident. What now?
This usually happens when an invite went to a different email than the one you normally use. Contact support and tell us both addresses so we can help you get access on the right one.
Can I belong to more than one organization on purpose?
Yes. Staff and consultants who work across campaigns often do. Use the switcher to move between them.
I started importing contacts into the wrong organization. What now?
Stop before adding more, switch into the correct organization, and contact support so we can advise on cleaning up the data you already added.
