Two-factor authentication (2FA) on Raise More uses your authenticator app or a phone number for SMS codes. If you can no longer access the method you normally use, these are your options.
Use a backup code
When you set up 2FA, one-time backup codes are generated for your account. If you saved those codes, you can enter one at the two-step verification screen instead of a code from your device. Each backup code works only once.
If you did not save your backup codes, skip to the next section.
Switch to your other 2FA method
The sign-in flow supports both an authenticator app (TOTP) and a phone number (SMS). If you set up both, a "Use another method" link appears on the verification screen. Tap or click it to receive a code by SMS instead, or to switch to your authenticator app, depending on which one you still have access to.
Contact support
If you cannot use any of the above options, you cannot recover your account on your own. Contact support so an administrator can look into your account.
When you contact support, be ready to verify your identity. Have your account email address and organization name available.
What administrators cannot do
An administrator in your organization cannot reset or disable your 2FA from inside Raise More. Recovery requires direct support involvement when a device is lost.
