You can filter contacts by donation totals, sort the results, and save the output as a list in a few steps.
Filter by donation amount
Go to Contacts in the left navigation.
Open the filter panel and add a filter.
Under the Donations to your committee group, choose one of:
Amount to filter on any individual donation amount.
Number of Donations to filter on how many gifts a contact has made.
Set your operator and value (for example, Amount is greater than 500).
Run the filter.
The results grid shows Total Donated, Largest Donation, # Donations, and Average Contribution columns for each contact. You can add or hide columns using the column menu.
Sort by Total Donated
Click the Total Donated column header to sort contacts from highest to lowest giving. Click again to reverse the order.
Note: sorting happens on numeric values, so the order is correct. If you export and open the file in a spreadsheet, currency columns may sort as text depending on your application.
Save the results as a list
With your filter and sort applied, click Save As in the toolbar.
Enter a name for the list.
Choose a save type:
List saves a static snapshot of the current results. The members do not change after saving even if contacts later match or stop matching your filter.
Saved search saves the filter itself. The results update each time you open the list.
Choose visibility:
Org makes the list visible to everyone in your organization.
Private keeps it visible only to you.
Shared lets you pick specific teammates.
Click Save.
The list appears under Lists in the left navigation. You can use it as a call list in the dialer, as the audience for a campaign, or as the source for an export.
Using cycle giving instead of lifetime giving
If your organization has a campaign cycle configured, the grid also shows Cycle Donations Total and # Cycle Donations columns. These reflect giving within your configured cycle dates only. Filter and sort on those columns the same way if you want to work from cycle-to-date giving rather than lifetime totals.
