You can link two contacts together using the Related Contacts section on a contact's profile. The link is bidirectional: it appears on both profiles automatically.
Find the Related Contacts section
Open a contact's profile and scroll to the Related Contacts section in the contact information panel.
Add a related contact
Click the + icon next to the Related Contacts heading.
A search field appears. Type at least three characters to search for the contact you want to link.
Select the contact from the results.
The link is created immediately and appears on both profiles.
Notes on the relationship link
There is no relationship type or label field. The link records only that two contacts are related; it does not store a descriptor such as "spouse" or "colleague." If you need to note the nature of the relationship, add that information in an interaction note or a custom field on either profile.
A contact cannot be linked to themselves. If the two contacts are already linked, adding the link again has no effect.
Remove a related contact
In the Related Contacts list, click the remove control next to the contact you want to unlink. The link is removed from both profiles.
