How to Test Products Rally.Fan Your Space
Updated over 4 months ago

Before you launch your Rally.Fan Store to the world, it's crucial to test your products to ensure everything works smoothly. Testing your products as if you were a customer helps you catch any potential issues and understand the customer experience. Here’s how you can do it effectively:

Steps to Test Your Products

1. Set the Product Price to $0

To make the testing process smooth, temporarily set the price of your product to $0. This way, you can go through the checkout process without any actual payment.

  • Navigate to Your Store: Go to your Rally.Fan Space and select the product you want to test.

  • Edit the Product: Click on the Checkout Page and scroll down to the Price section.

  • Set Price to $0: Change the product price to $0 and click Publish at the bottom of the page.

2. Go Through the Checkout Process

Now that your product is set to free, you can test the checkout process.

  • Visit Your Live Space: Head over to your live space URL

  • Select the Product: Click on the product you want to test.

  • Complete the Form: Fill out the purchase form as if you were a customer and submit it.

3. Review the Confirmation Process

After submitting the form, you should be redirected to a Confirmation Page.

Here, you’ll either get a link to your digital product or instructions on the next steps.

Additionally, you should receive a confirmation email with the product details.

Troubleshooting: Didn't Receive a Confirmation Email?

If you don't get a confirmation email, try these steps:

  • Check Digital Product Upload: Ensure you’ve uploaded the product file or URL correctly.

    • Go to your product’s Checkout Page tab, scroll to the "Upload your Digital Product" section, and upload the necessary file or URL.

  • Check Spam or Promotions Folder: Sometimes, emails might end up in your Spam or Promotions folder. Look for an email from orders@metacommerce.store.

  • Try a Different Email Address: If the above steps don’t work, try checking out using a different email address.

If you still face issues, please contact our support team at hello@metacommerce.com for further assistance. We’re here to help ensure your store runs perfectly!

Important Note:

Avoid doing test purchases for paid products if you plan to refund yourself, as Stripe charges refund transaction fees.
