In this help article, we will discuss what a case study is, why it is important to use them, and how to create and incorporate them into your proposals using the Engage platform. Let's get started!

What is a Case Study?

A case study is a narrative that tells the story of a previous successful sale you have made. It goes beyond a simple review by highlighting the specific benefits and outcomes of selling a particular property. Essentially, it allows you to share the story and demonstrate the value you provided to your clients.

Why Use Case Studies?

Case studies are a powerful tool that can be used in your proposals to create social proof. When presenting your proposal to potential prospects, including case studies of similar properties or businesses you have successfully sold establishes trust and credibility. By showcasing past successes, prospects can see that your services have been tried and tested, increasing their confidence in your ability to handle their sale.

Creating and Using Case Studies to Engage

  1. Log in to your Engage account and navigate to Account Admin.

  2. On the left-hand side, you will find the Case Studies button. Click on it to access your existing case studies or create a new one.

  3. To create a new case study, click on the Create button at the top right corner of the page. Select the relevant project from the list or enter the project name.

  4. Provide a description of the case study. Remember, the more information you include, the more compelling and believable the story becomes.

  5. To enhance the visual appeal of your case study, you can upload images. These could include pictures of the happy vendor or the property itself. Simply click on the Upload button and select the image file.

  6. Once you have entered all the necessary information and uploaded images, click Save to create the case study.

Incorporating Case Studies in Proposals

When you are creating or editing a proposal, you can easily include case studies to strengthen your presentation.

  1. Open the proposal you are working on in the Engage platform.

  2. On the right-hand side of the proposal editor, you will find an option to add case studies. Click on it to see the list of available case studies.

  3. Choose the relevant case studies you want to include in your proposal. You can select one or multiple case studies based on the content that aligns with the current proposal.
