How to Create a New Version of Your Agency Template

As time goes on, you may need to make significant changes to your agency template. Whether it's updating imagery, adding new content, or giving it a fresh look, it's important to create a new version of your template rather than modifying the existing one. Making changes to the current version can inadvertently affect proposals that have already been sent out. In this help article, we will guide you through the process of creating a new version of your agency template using our system.

  1. To begin, log in to your account and navigate to the templates page. This is where you can manage and create different templates for your agency.

  2. On the templates page, locate the template you wish to update. Click on the green Create button to proceed.

  3. A pop-up window will appear. Here, you need to provide a name for the new version of your template. Feel free to choose a naming convention that works best for your office. This could include naming templates based on seasons or years.

  4. After naming the new version, click on the Create Template button. This action will generate a brand new version of the template that you can make updates to.

  5. Now that you have the new version of your template, it's essential to archive the previous version to avoid any unintended changes to existing proposals. Navigate to the older version of the template and locate the option to archive it. Archiving the template will remove it from the active templates list.

  6. With the new version of your template created and the old version archived, you are now ready to start using the new version for all new proposals you create. The new template will reflect the updates and changes you have made while preserving the integrity of previously sent proposals.
