How to create an Event Calendar Template

Event calendar templates are essential as they allow agents to easily incorporate them into their proposals. These templates typically include standard auction campaigns, market campaigns, and more. Agents can select the relevant template for their proposals, streamlining the process.

Designing your Event Calendar Template

Including event calendars in your proposals is crucial to provide vendors with a visual representation of their campaign and the anticipated process. It allows them to envision the journey with you even before listing their property. Today, we will demonstrate how to create a template and incorporate it into your proposal.

To begin, navigate to the Account Admin section and locate the Templates tab. Click on Calendars, where you will find existing templates. To create a new template, click on the Create button. Name your template and specify the duration of the campaign. Then proceed to create the template, which will provide an overview of the calendar and allow you to enter events.

For example, you can include open homes, preparation events like photography and cleaning, and more. The template section is organized by day (Day 1, Day 2, etc.) for ease of use. This setup ensures that when you select a start date for your campaigns, the events will be automatically populated from that date onwards. You can also drag and drop events to rearrange them. For instance, you can move photography and cleaning to the next day by simply clicking and dragging the event to the desired date.

Once you are satisfied with your template, save it, and you will find it listed in the templates section.

Incorporating your Event Calendar Into Your Proposal

Next, let's explore how to incorporate the event calendar into your proposal. Within a proposal, you will find the Event Calendar feature on the right side. If it's not already selected, click on it to enable it. Then, create a new event calendar and choose the template you just created.

Specify the campaign start date and create the calendar. This action will generate a copy of the template for this specific campaign within the proposal. Agents can now freely drag and rearrange events within the calendar without affecting the original template. This flexibility allows for customization on a per-proposal basis.

Feel free to make adjustments, add new events, and save the calendar. Once saved, the event calendar will appear directly within your proposal, providing a clear visual representation of the campaign timeline and events.
