Who is this for? Brand Administrators managing agencies within a Realhub brand.
What is AML Compliance in Realhub?
From 1 July 2026, real estate agents in Australia are regulated reporting entities under the Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing Act 2006 (AML/CTF Act). Agents must complete Initial Customer Due Diligence (CDD) on vendors before commencing any designated service — including ordering property marketing.
Realhub now includes a platform-level enforcement mechanism that gates quote approval and new order creation behind a confirmed AML completion status for the vendor.
How to Enable AML Enforcement for Your Brand
Navigate to your Brand Admin - Brand Settings page in your Realhub account.
Locate the new Compliance Settings subsection.
You will see a toggle labelled AML Compliance Enforcement.
Switch the toggle to YES.
A confirmation dialog will appear — confirm to enable.
⚠️ Once enabled, all Property Marketing campaigns under your brand will require vendor AML verification before quotes can be approved or new orders created. Existing orders created before this setting being turned on at brand level are not affected and can be confirmed.
What Happens When AML Enforcement is ON
Scenario | Effect |
CRM sends | Agents can approve quotes and place orders as normal |
CRM sends | Quote approval and new order creation are blocked |
AML status not yet received ( | Quote approval and new order creation are blocked |
Campaign is Agent/Agency Marketing (not Property Marketing) | No gating applied — business as usual |
How AML Status is Determined
CRM-linked campaigns: The AML status is synced automatically from your connected CRM (e.g., Box+Dice). When the CRM sends the
<VendorAMLComplete>field as part of the media vendor XML sync, Realhub updates the campaign automatically. This field is editable on CRM-linked campaigns — you can manually override it in Realhub (for now).Manual campaigns (no CRM link): The
VendorAMLCompletefield defaults to Not Set/No (blocked). Agency Admin can manually set this to Yes to unblock the campaign.
Where to View AML Status
Go to any Property Marketing campaign → Property Details section.
You will see two fields:
Pre-Commencement Listings
Listings that existed before 1 July 2026 are considered pre-commencement and are not required to have AML due diligence. Your CRM should automatically report these as VendorAMLComplete = true even if no AML check has been performed.
Key Points
Only Brand Admins and internal support can enable/disable AML enforcement.
The setting applies to all agencies under your brand.
AML gating only affects Property Marketing campaigns — Agent and Agency Marketing campaigns are unaffected.
Existing orders already placed are not retroactively affected.
All blocked and successful attempts are logged for AUSTRAC compliance audit purposes.
FAQ
Q: Can I turn off AML enforcement after enabling it?
A: Yes. Toggle the setting off in Brand Administration > Compliance Settings. Gating will immediately stop applying to campaigns under your brand.
Q: What if an agency doesn't have a CRM connected?
A: The campaign is treated as a manual campaign. The Vendor AML status will default to "Not Set"/"No"/"False" (blocked). The Agency Admin must manually set it to "Yes" once you've confirmed AML due diligence is complete.
Q: Does this affect the Finance Review/2-step quote approval flow?
A: Finance users can still view and review quotes, but they cannot approve a quote if the AML status is not confirmed. The same gating logic applies consistently.
