Fixed
Images shared with

Improved
Faster video results. Video analysis completes about twice as fast.
Changes to be aware of
30-minute limit on videos. RealScan no longer accepts videos longer than 30 minutes and declines them before upload. Split longer recordings into segments of 30 minutes or less.

Fixed

New
Custom scan names. You can give a scan its own name instead of using the uploaded file name. Custom names are searchable and sortable in your scan results.
Move between results. On a scan result page, use the previous and next controls or your arrow keys to move to the next result without returning to the list. Your filters, search, and sort order carry over.
Improved
Clearer error screen. If the page runs into an unexpected error, RealScan shows an error screen with a reload option instead of a blank page.
Fixed
Download report. The Download report button is back on the scan details page.
Text file uploads. In Submit media > Text, the web app accepts files up to 5MB, as intended. Previously, some files under that size were rejected. The text extracted from a file can be up to 900KB.
Changes to be aware of
API keys and webhooks have their own pages. API keys and webhooks are now separate pages in the main navigation, each with a tab per product. To manage RealScan keys, go to API keys > RealScan. To manage RealScan webhooks, go to Webhooks > RealScan. For more detail, see How to Manage Webhooks in RealScan.

Improved
Faster results for social media links that can't be downloaded. When a link can never be downloaded, such as a post with no media attached, RealScan now returns the failure result right away instead of retrying several times first. The links that fail are unchanged. They just fail sooner.
