Learn everything about how to set-up Realync with Yardi!

*Please note that if your Realync + Yardi integration has already been set-up and you need to add an additional property please add the Realync Interface users to the property (setup steps 3-6) and send a request, including the property’s Yardi ID, to integrations@realync.com to add the property! 🏠

Requirements 📍

  • Minimum Yardi Voyager Version: 7S

  • Minimum Interfaces Plugin Version: Interfaces PIv15.1

  • Minimum ILS/Guest Card Interface Plugin Version: Interfaces ILS/Guest Card PIv15

  • This needs to be done by your Yardi System Administrator.

  • An interface user account allows Realync to access your Voyager data through the web service.

  • This type of account does not permit Realync log into Voyager.

  • This interface user does not count against your license.

Set-up 🛠️

1) Download the Interface Setup Guides on Yardi Client Central.

2) Configure Realync as an Interface Vendor. Then, configure the Interface user for Realync in Yardi. Make sure to follow the directions in Yardi’s Interface Setup Guide for both configurations! (Be sure to secure the Interface User to all relevant properties in the Security tab)

3) Please save the Yardi Settings for the Realync interface.

* Please note be sure to set the “Include only Residents/Guests with activity in the last __ days” to 90 days!

4) Configure the Realync Interface for all relevant properties using Bulk Property Configuration, following the directions in Yardi’s Interface Setup Guide.

5) Realync activities are logged under the “Activity Logs” section of the Yardi guest card under the type “Other” and utilizing the “Agent” field for the activity to denote Realync events. As such, please add the following Agents to each relevant property in Yardi:

  • agent1 = firstName: ‘Realync’, lastName: ‘Video’

  • agent2 = firstName: ‘Realync’, lastName: ‘Live Tour’

  • agent3 = firstName: ‘Realync’, lastName: ‘Playlist’

6) Please email integrations@realync.com with the following credentials needed:

  • Interface username (e.g. realync)

  • Interface password (e.g. Realync1)

  • Server name (SQL Server, NOT web server) (e.g. xxxxxxx_live)

  • Database name (same as Server name) (e.g. xxxxxxx_live)

  • Yardi Property IDs

    • Please ensure that the Realync interface user has access to these properties before sending

Once all of your hard work is done, we will do the rest! 💪

We will start configuring the integration using the credentials you provided and will either confirm a successful integration or coordinate with you to work through any errors.

If the configuration is successful, please allow 30 minutes for the initial data sync to complete. If you don’t see any Yardi prospects in your Realync account after that time, please reach out to us!

When we are all set, we’ll email you to notify you that we’re ready to go and will plan to send a communication/training video to your onsite teams within 1 business day.

Once a Yardi prospect is synced with Realync, any Realync-related activities will be logged to the Yardi Guest Card in real time. Realync will sync with your Yardi database every hour to pull over new prospects.
