Can I Stop Payment Receipt Emails for One Specific Client?

Rechargly does not currently offer a per-client toggle to stop or start Stripe payment receipt emails. Stripe's email settings apply to all customers connected to your Stripe account.

Understanding Which Emails Come from Where

There are two types of payment-related emails your clients may receive:

  1. Stripe payment receipts — Sent automatically by Stripe after a successful payment. These show as coming from your Stripe account name.

  2. Stripe debit initiation emails — Sent before an automatic direct debit is processed.

Rechargly does not send PDF invoice copies to clients by default. If your clients are receiving payment confirmation emails, they are almost certainly coming from Stripe.

How to Turn Off Receipts for All Clients

To stop Stripe from sending payment receipts to all your clients:

  1. Log in to your Stripe Dashboard

  2. Go to Settings > Business > Emails

  3. Toggle off Successful payments

To also stop debit initiation emails, toggle off Debit on the same page.
