How Client Matching and Mapping Works in FYI

How Rechargly matches FYI clients on name, the confidence grading, the confirm-before-push gate, and the mapping queue for unmatched clients.

Written by Jazmin Aldana

Overview

Before Rechargly pushes anything to FYI, it matches your FYI clients to the clients you have mapped in Rechargly. You confirm every match, so nothing is pushed automatically.

How clients are matched

Rechargly matches on client name only. It does not use a tax file number, client code or any other identifier. Matching is flexible and graded by confidence. As well as ignoring differences in case, spacing, punctuation and ampersands, it will consider a name reordered around a comma, a name with spaces removed, and an overlap on the leading word or first two words. Each suggested match shows the confidence it was found at.

Confirming matches

Every match, at any confidence level, must be confirmed by you in Rechargly before anything is pushed to FYI. Go to Mapping to review and confirm each match. Once you confirm a client, Rechargly stores the FYI client identifier and uses it for all later syncs, so a later name change in FYI does not break the link.

Once mapping is completed

Review the Pending Action, and select which ones you want to send for tracking. Once you do this, the disbursement and job will appear in FYI.
