How Jobs and Disbursements Are Created in FYI

The job creation flow: after mapping, review pending costs and Send for tracking; the first cost creates the job, then later charges flow automatically. Mirrors XPM.

Overview

Once your clients are mapped, costs flow into Rechargly ready to send to FYI. You choose when to send them, and the first cost you send creates the job.

How a job is created

  1. Confirm the client's mapping. Until a client is mapped, nothing is sent to FYI.

  2. Review the client's costs on the Pending Action page and select some or all of them.

  3. Select Send for tracking. The first cost you send creates the job in FYI, and that disbursement is pushed to the new job.

  4. Once the job exists, every later charge for that client flows through automatically.

If a job is not showing in FYI

Check these in order:

  • Imports: make sure the vendor invoice has been imported.

  • Mapping: make sure the client is mapped and confirmed in Rechargly.

  • Send for tracking: confirm the client's first cost on the Pending Action page has been sent for tracking. The job is only created once you do this.
