YouTube Content ID is a fingerprinting system that identifies whenever your music is used anywhere on YouTube. To qualify for Content ID, your content must meet the following criteria:
It must be 100% original music, with all sounds either recorded by you or licensed exclusively to you (meaning no one else can use those sounds in their tracks).
It must not contain beats, loops, or sound effects downloaded from sample libraries, including free sounds that come with Logic, Pro Tools, GarageBand, etc.
It must not include samples from other songs, movies, TV shows, podcasts, video games, YouTube videos, or any other media.
It must not use public domain recordings, cover songs, remixes, or mashups.
It must not include any AI-generated content.
The track should not exceed 10 minutes in length.
