Enabling Facebook Messenger Reminders in your RecoverMyCart admin

Remind customers about their abandoned carts via the channel they prefer with RecoverMyCart's Facebook Messenger feature.

Enable Facebook Messenger Reminders in RecoverMyCart

If you are using a basic Shopify theme, you can enable the Facebook Messenger feature for RecoverMyCart directly from your app admin.

1. From your RecoverMyCart app admin, go to the Facebook Messaging tab.

2. Open the Facebook Connection tab.

3. Under the Facebook Connection Settings, follow the prompts to connect your Facebook account.

4. Once your Facebook account is connected, go to your Facebook Theme Setting menu. Complete the form to customize your settings such as Facebook Widget Message, Widget Size, Widget Alignment, and Widget Color to suit your brand.

5. Enable your Facebook Messenger feature by toggling the on/off button on.

Your customers' experience

1. When a customer views a product on your website, they will see an opt-in button to receive correspondence via Facebook Messenger. The customer will need to select this option.

2. The customer will then need to add the item to their cart, begin filling out their details at checkout, and not add payment details at checkout.


3. At the designated sending time, the customer will receive an abandoned cart reminder via Facebook Messenger.
