How to import historical carts

Reach out to those customers who abandoned their carts prior to installing RecoverMyCar.

You can attempt to recover lost orders fo customers who abandoned their cart before your installed the RecoveryMyCart app.

⚠️ Important: Historical carts can only be imported up to 60 days prior to the date of import.


How to import historical carts

1. To import historical carts from your app admin, select the Abandoned Cart Emails button from the navigation menu.

2. Go to the Insights tab and select the link import historical carts.

3. A popup will appear to confirm how far back the import should go.

4. Once the import has finished, click OK

💡Tip: Once you've imported your historical abandoned cart data, the abandoned cart emails will show as 'pending' status until your email has met the specified time period before sending. For example, if your abandoned cart emails are scheduled to send 1 hour after cart abandonment, they will be sent 1 hour after importing.
