Pop-ups are a great way to engage with customers and capture valuable information from them. To ensure the best customer experience, you'll want to set the conditions for when your pop-up will show.
How to adjust the Exit Intent Pop-up show settings
1. From your RecoverMyCart app admin, select the Exit Intent Pop-up button from the navigation menu.
2. Click on the Customize Exit Intent Pop-up tab
3. On the right-hand side of the screen the Show Settings menu. Here you can choose the conditions required for the exit pop-up to display to customers such as a requirement for items to be in your cart or a minimum spend.
4. Under the Show Settings menu, you will find the Exit Popup Offer field. Here you will be able to add a discount code to your popup and customize the discount link text.
5. Next, you will find the Customize Exit Popup Offer field. Here you will be able to upload your store logo or a customized image for the popup form. You will also be able to adjust the font and color scheme of the popup.
π Note: To display the exit pop-up to everyone, simply leave these settings as 0.
How it works - Your members' experience
The values you have chosen in the Show Settings section will determine when your store visitors see the Exit Intent Pop-up.
For example, your settings require the customer to have 1 or more items in their cart:
A customer who visits the website browses some items but does not add an item to their cart will not be shown the Exit Intent Pop-up.
A customer who visits the website, adds a couple of items to their cart but decides not to proceed to checkout will be shown the Exit Intent Pop-up.
