Communication Channels and Platform Transition

Understanding Reel Unlimited's communication channels and our transition to integrated dashboard chat.

Updated this week

We currently support Slack for team collaboration and project communication. This allows for real-time messaging, file sharing, and direct communication with your dedicated design team.

Upcoming Platform Transition

Effective Date: July 1st, 2025

We are transitioning away from external communication platforms like Slack in favor of our proprietary live chat system built directly into your Reel Unlimited dashboard.

Why We're Making This Change

This transition is powered by ProRequests, the client portal software we developed specifically for creative project management. The integrated approach offers several advantages:

  • Centralized Communication: All project discussions, file sharing, and updates will be consolidated in one location alongside your project management tools.

  • Simplified Workflow: No need to switch between different platforms to communicate with your team or access project files.

  • Better Organization: Project-specific conversations stay organized within their respective project contexts.

  • Complete Project History: All communication history is preserved alongside project deliverables and revisions.

What This Means for You

Starting July 1st, 2025, all team collaboration will move to the built-in chat system within your dashboard. This ensures that all communication, project files, feedback, and updates are available in one centralized, organized location.

Transition Timeline

  • Before July 1st, 2025: Continue using current Slack channels as normal

  • July 1st, 2025: Official transition to dashboard-based communication

  • Post-Transition: All new communication will happen exclusively through the dashboard chat system

Benefits of the New System

The integrated chat system provides a more efficient experience by keeping everything related to your projects in one place. You'll have immediate access to project history, files, and team communication without needing to navigate between different platforms.

This change reflects our commitment to providing a comprehensive experience that makes managing your design projects as simple and organized as possible.
