This article is about streaming from your phone. Using the Reeplayer Camera? See Which sports does Reeplayer support?.
Short version: your phone is great for smaller spaces. For full-size fields, use the Reeplayer Camera.
Works great from a phone
Indoor volleyball. See How do I set up my phone for volleyball?
Basketball. See How do I set up my phone for basketball?
Futsal and small-sided soccer (like 4v4 and 5v5). Midfield, up high, and tap 0.5x.
Pickleball and tennis. See How do I set up my phone for tennis or pickleball?
Chess. Yes, really.
Gymnastics, cheer and dance practice.
Rule of thumb: if the playing area is up to about 40 meters (130 feet) end to end, your phone has it covered. That's a basketball court, or a bit bigger.
Full-size fields: use the Reeplayer Camera
For 9v9, 11v11 and other full-size fields, we recommend the Reeplayer Camera. We'd rather be upfront about why:
Phone: made for smaller spaces. It records one fixed view, the one you set up.
Reeplayer Camera: made for the full field. Its AI follows the play from corner to corner.
On a big field, a phone ends up showing a lot of empty grass. More on full-size soccer
Still testing
Wrestling, martial arts, swimming and 7v7 soccer: we're still testing these. Give it a try and tell us how it goes. Just message us from the app.
