🆕 NEW SYSTEM GENERATED LISTS
Your account now includes new System Lists. This allows us to separate system-generated lists from your custom lists.
New customers will automatically have their system-generated lists added as System Lists.
Existing customers' previous system-generated lists will be under the Custom Lists tab. Moving forward, when records are added, updated, or enriched, they will also receive System Lists. If you prefer to only generate System Lists going forward, toggle the Update Custom Lists option off under the Settings -> Auto-Update tab of your DataSift account.
Lists help your organize and stack your data. In your DataSift account, you have both Custom and System generated lists. System Lists will automatically be added when records are added to your account, and are based on the distressor, equity, and qualifying data.
List Types Per Plan
All plans include free system-generated lists for records that meet the following criteria:
Free and Clear - properties that are owned outright and do not have any mortgage (100% equity).
High Equity - properties that have 30% or greater equity
Low Equity - properties that have 20% or less equity.
Negative Equity - properties where the mortgage balance exceeds the property value.
Owner Occupied - properties where the owner is the primary resident.
Absentee - properties owned by individuals who do not reside at the property.
Pre-Foreclosure - properties in the early stages of foreclosure proceedings.
Foreclosure - properties currently in the foreclosure process where the lender is reclaiming the property due to non-payment.
Users on Expert, AI plans, or those with the SiftMap Pro add-on, receive all free lists plus additional distressor-based lists:

Pre-Foreclosures - Court Order
Liens - properties that have liens placed on them for unpaid work or utilities, HOA liens, state tax, and federal liens.
Judgments - properties where a court judgement has been issued against the owner.
Estate Sales - properties that are being sold as part of an estate liquidation.
Probate Properties - properties that are being distributed as part of an estate, often following the owner's death.
Criminal Felony - properties owned by individuals with criminal felony records, which may indicate financial distress or motivation to liquidate assets.
Senior Homeowners - properties that are owned by individuals over the age of 65.
Divorce Properties - properties where the owners are undergoing a divorce.
Eviction - properties where the tenant is being, or has been evicted.
Vacant Properties - properties that are unoccupied.
Pre-Probate/Deceased - properties that are identified before the probate process begins, often when the owner has passed away, but the estate has not yet entered probate.
Low Income - properties where the owner has an income between $0-$35,000 annually.
Low Credit Score - properties owned by individuals with poor credit.
Bankruptcy - properties owned by individuals in bankruptcy.
Inherited - properties that have been inherited by new owners.
Tax Delinquent - properties where the owners have failed to pay property taxes.
Short Term Loan - properties financed with short-term loans nearing maturity.
Obituary - properties associated with recently deceased owners identified through obituary records.
Tired Landlord - absentee owner who have owned the property for a minimum of 15 years.
Estate & Heirs - properties passed to heirs through estate succession, where multiple owners may prefer selling over managing the property.
If a record meets multiple criteria (for example, multiple distressors or prospect lists), it will be added to multiple lists (list stacking).
Custom vs System Lists
Custom lists include the lists you created on your own, along with the default lists included in your account. Your custom lists can be added/removed from records, edited, and deleted. Optionally, you can select to add matching custom lists by turning on the Update Custom Lists setting under the Settings -> Auto-Update section of your DataSift account
System lists are strictly the system-generated lists based on the distressor, equity, or qualifying data. System lists cannot be edited or deleted, however they will be removed during auto-update if the list no longer applies to the property or the owner's situation.
Viewing the System-Generated Lists

On the Lists page, you will see two tabs, one for your custom lists and another for your System Generated lists.
Here you can view a breakdown of all properties added to each list.

From within the Property Details page of a record, you can view both system and custom generated lists on each tab:

FAQ
In SiftMap, how can I see which lists will be added for the records?
Both free system-generated lists and distressor lists are displayed directly on the record card in SiftMap and under the Lists tab in SiftMap. After adding records, you can filter by these lists or view them within each property record.
I've been a user since before the System List release. How can I add System Lists to my records?
Your records still received system-generated lists; however, they were added as Custom Lists. Moving forward, when records are added, updated, or enriched, they will also receive System Lists. Your account is set by default to use both Custom and System Lists. If you'd prefer to only add System-Generated Lists going forward, you can toggle the Update Custom Lists option off under the Settings -> Auto-Update tab.
Can I turn the system generated lists off?
No, System Lists cannot be turned off however you can turn off auto-adding custom lists. Navigate to the Settings -> Auto-Update tab and toggle the option under custom lists off.
Will System Lists be removed if they no longer apply?
Yes, with Auto-Update turned on, any system generated lists will be automatically removed from records if they are no longer associated with the owner or property.
How can I add the Pro distressors to my plan?
SiftMap Pro features are included in the Expert and AI plans. They can also be purchased as an add-on for Professional and Business plans. You can view the full plan comparison here.
