How to manage your contacts in REISift

Phonebook allows you to manage all your contacts in REISift. Contact statuses can be used to indicate the contact type, and contact tags can be added for additional information.

Navigate to Phonebook on the left side of your account to start adding and managing your contacts.

Creating Contacts

New contacts can be added by selecting Add New Contact located towards the top right of the Phonebook section.

Phonebook is for your verified contacts so a phone number is required in order to add the contact. Enter a phone number and any additional information associated with the contact, then select Create Contact to save.

When a contact is created, they will also be added as an owner and can be accessed from the Owner Details page.

If the Owner already exists in your account, you can make them a contact by togging Mark as a contact from the Owner Details page.

Note: Contacts cannot be uploaded direct to phonebook at this time. A workaround is to upload just owners (requires full mailing address) then search the owners on the owner records page, and toggle to make them a contact.

Contact Details

The Contact Details page displays the contact information, an activity log for the contact events, and message board. Contact statuses and tags can be added within the contacts.

Phone numbers with the Correct phone status will be displayed on the main Phonebook page.

Contact Statuses

Contact statuses can be used to identify the type of contact. The default contact statuses are:

  • Agent

  • Banker

  • Broker

  • Buyer

  • Carpenter

  • Electrician

  • Lender

  • Plumber

  • Roofer

You can create your own custom contact statuses from the Statuses page. Select the Contact Statuses tab and click Create Custom Status.


Enter the name of the status and select a background color. Select Create Status to save.


Statuses can be toggled on and off by selecting the toggle to the right of the Contact Status Name. When toggling a status off, it will remove the status from any contacts.

Need to edit or delete a custom status? Select the 3 dots to the right. When deleting a status it will remove the status from any contacts.

Contact Tags

Contact Tags can be created from the Tags section of your REISift account. Select the Contact Tags tab, and click Add New Tag.

Contact tags will also be created when adding them from within the Contact Details page.

Tags can be edited or deleted by selecting the 3 dots to the right of the tag name. In order to delete a tag you will need to remove it from any contacts first. To remove the tag from a contact, open the contact and select the "X" located next to the tag.

Phonebook Filters

Contacts can be filtered by Contact Status and Contact Tag. Select Filter Contacts located towards the top right of the Phonebook page, then select Add new filter block.


The tags filter is an and filter, meaning if you select multiple tags, we will return results for records that have all tags selected.
