Share a photo gallery

Pick specific photos from a project and send customers a gallery link to just those photos.

Written by Rhet Porter

A photo gallery shares only the photos you pick. Use it for a finished set, like before-and-after photos or photos for an insurance claim. You can create one on mobile or on the web, and your customer doesn't need a RelayCam account to view it.

A gallery is a fixed set. Only the photos you selected are in the gallery. Later uploads to the project aren't added to it.

Share a photo gallery on mobile

  1. Open the project and tap the menu (⋮).

  2. Tap Select and Share Photo Gallery. The project's uploads open so you can pick photos.

  3. Select the photos you want to share.

  4. Tap Share. RelayCam creates the gallery link and opens your phone's share sheet so you can send it by text, email, or any app.

Share a photo gallery on the web

  1. Open the project, click the menu (⋮), and click Share Photo Gallery. The project's photos switch to selection mode.

  2. Select the photos you want, or click Select All. The green button shows how many you picked, for example Share (3).

  3. Click Share. RelayCam creates the gallery link and copies it. Paste it into a text or email.

What your customer sees

Your customer opens the link in any browser. The page shows your company logo (or the RelayCam icon if you haven't added a logo), a line that says you're sharing a gallery with them, and your photos in numbered order. Each photo shows its location coordinates and the date and time it was taken. They can tap a photo to open it full screen and move through the set.

To save the photos, they tap Download All Photos, enter their email address, and tap Proceed. RelayCam emails them a link to download everything. The link expires, so they should download the photos soon after it arrives.
