If your camera isn't working for the live picture step (sometimes called the selfie), the issue is almost always a permission setting. Here's how to fix it.
Grant camera access in your browser or on your device
Try a different device or browser
If granting permission doesn't fix it, try a different browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge) or a different device. Phone cameras tend to work most reliably for this step.
Is another app using your camera?
If another app is using your camera (a video call, a recording app, etc.), close that app and try again.
Still not working?
If you've tried the steps above and your camera still isn't working, you can tap the "x" to skip the live picture. Your application can still be submitted, though processing may be delayed.
