How to add your emergency contact

What to enter for your emergency contact — name, phone, and an optional email.

If your application includes an emergency contact section, you'll be asked for someone the property manager can reach if there's an emergency at the property.

Who fills this in

Both the primary applicant and any cosigners on the application fill in their own emergency contact. If you're applying as an occupant, you won't see this section.

What you'll enter

  • Full Name — the person's full name

  • Phone number — the best number to reach them

  • Email address (optional)

Tips

  • Pick someone who's reachable by phone

  • It can be a family member, a friend, or anyone else you trust

  • Ideally someone who doesn't live with you, so they can step in if there's a problem at home
