If someone will be helping you pay the rent — either as a Co-Applicant (living with you) or Co-Signer (not living with you) — add them in the Cosigners section of your application.

What happens after you add them
Each Co-Applicant and Co-Signer gets their own invitation by email to complete their part of the application. They go through identity verification, income verification, and full screening — same as you.
If they don't get the email
Ask them to check their spam folder. The email comes from Rent Butter and contains a link to start their part.
If they don't complete their part
The property manager can't make a final decision until everyone's part is complete. Reach out to your Co-Applicant or Co-Signer if things are stalled.
Adding more than one
You can add multiple Co-Applicants and Co-Signers — save one and add another.
