Overview

RentEngine syndicates to all the major listing sites (full list here), but certain websites have restrictions for multi-family properties or the number of listings that can be syndicated for each company

Zillow Group (Zillow, Trulia, Hotpads)

Check the status of your listing on Zillow:

  1. Go to the Intelligence tab

  2. Open the Syndication Status report

  3. Find the property and see the status

If the status says "View on Zillow", you can click the link to see the active Zillow listing.

Otherwise, refer to this article Zillow syndication statuses - and what they mean to understand:

  • Why a listing may be hidden

  • What status Zillow has applied

  • Next steps

Note: if you see an off-market or outdated listing for the property on Google, check this article.

CoStar Group (Apartments.com, Homes.com, Apartment Finder)

1-3 unit properties

Apartments.com and Homes.com are owned by CoStar Group.

CoStar limits free syndication:

  • Only 10 listings can be displayed at a time

  • Listings are randomly selected

  • Each listing displays for 21 days

They offer a FeedPro subscription if you'd like to have all active listings displayed by the CoStar network. Please reach out to the Apartments.com FeedPro sales team for any questions or to explore a paid contract.

4+ unit properties

Additionally, any apartment building with four or more units requires a paid CoStar contract to display on Apartments.com and Homes.com.

Please reach out to the Apartments.com multifamily sales team for any questions or to explore a paid contract.

Other websites
