Rentmigo is a rent guarantor. If your landlord or letting agent asks for a guarantor, we can act as yours, so you don't need to ask a family member or friend to sign up to pay your rent.

1. You apply. You complete a short online application, verify your identity with your original ID and a selfie through Plaid, our secure ISO 27001-certified verification partner, and upload your financial documents. Most people finish in around 10 minutes.

2. We assess your application. We review your identity, credit history and finances. Most decisions are made within 24 to 48 hours once we have everything we need.

3. You pay. Once you're approved, you pay a one-off fee of between 2 weeks' and 1 month's rent. It's never more than 1 month's rent, and you can split it into instalments with Klarna or Clearpay.

4. Everyone signs. Once all tenants on the tenancy have paid, the Rent Guarantee Agreement is sent out automatically. It's signed by you, your landlord or letting agent, and Rentmigo.

5. Your guarantee is issued. You and your landlord each receive a guarantee certificate. Your guarantee lasts for 3 years.

If rent goes unpaid, Rentmigo pays your landlord, up to 12 months of rent. Your landlord won't issue the tenancy agreement until a guarantee is in place, so having Rentmigo approved means you can secure your home.
