Every Rentmigo guarantee lasts for a fixed 3 years from the start date shown on the guarantee certificate.
If the tenant moves out sooner
The guarantee ends when the tenancy ends and the tenant moves out.
If the tenancy continues beyond 3 years
The guarantee doesn't renew automatically. If you'd still like a guarantor in place, the tenant can make a new application, which involves a new assessment and a new fee paid by the tenant.
Why 3 years?
Under the Renters' Rights Act, tenancies in England are rolling with no fixed end date. A 3-year guarantee gives you long-term protection without the tenant needing to renew every year.
