Overview

The Buy X, Get Y promotion is a powerful way to encourage your patients to book multiple treatments, try new services, and increase overall spending at your MedSpa or practice.

This feature lets you offer a reward when a patient meets a specific spend or quantity threshold on a selected service—perfect for encouraging larger purchases and driving repeat visits. You can create Buy X, Get Y promotions in your RepeatMD Admin Portal.

It’s designed to help you run smarter promotions, increase transaction size, and boost overall patient engagement—without adding any extra complexity.

Here are a few Buy X Get Y Examples:

  • Buy 20 Units of Tox, Get 5 Free Units on Us

  • Spend $500 on Botox, Get 1 DiamondGlow Facial Free

  • Buy 3 Microneedling Sessions, Get 1 PRP Add-On Free

Why This Matters

With Buy X, Get Y, you can:

  • Incentivize higher spending with offers like “Spend $500 on Botox, get a free Hydrafacial”

  • Drive repeat visits by offering follow-up services as rewards

  • Simplify redemptions with automatic in-app application (no codes or manual tracking needed)

  • Protect your margins with flexible controls on how many times a reward applies

This is a highly effective way to reward loyalty, promote new or additional services, and grow revenue.


How It Works

Each promotion includes:

What You Control

Buy X

Choose 1 qualifying service - set a spend or quantity requirement

Get Y

Choose 1 service, then one reward service (free or discounted)

Max Uses Per Order

Limit how many times the reward can apply in a single transaction (default is 1)

Example: If you set “Buy 2, Get 1 Free” and a patient buys 4, they’ll receive 2 rewards—but only if you haven’t set a usage limit.


What Patients Experience

Once your promotion is live, patients will:

  • Automatically receive the reward when they qualify—no promo codes needed

  • Patients can find your promotion featured on your Home & Discover pages of your app

  • See the promotion applied clearly at checkout in your app

  • Have a smooth and intuitive experience that encourages repeat purchasing
