How to Create a Campaign in Your RepeatMD App

A step-by-step guide to setting up coordinated promotions (campaigns) combining Special Offer, Custom Shop Category, Site Wide Promotion, and Text Messages

A campaign in RepeatMD is a coordinated set of promotions that work together to capture patient attention and drive sales. By combining a Special Offer, a Custom Shop Category, a Site Wide Promotion, and a Text Message, you create a complete marketing flow: patients see the offer, browse it easily in your app, get reminded by banners and popups, and receive a direct text notification to take action. This approach not only increases visibility but also maximizes conversions and revenue.


Step 1: Create a Special Offer

  1. In your Admin Panel, go to the Special Offers tab.

  2. Click Create a New Special Offer.

  3. Choose availability:

    • In App (recommended) so patients can use it anytime.

    • In Office if you only want redemption during visits.

  4. Select Public (all patients can see it) or Private (only accessible with a promo code).

  5. Enter an Offer Title and Preview Text.

  6. Upload an image.

  7. Choose your discount type (percentage, dollar amount, free service, or Buy X Get Y).

  8. Set the amount (e.g., 20% off).

  9. Select the services included.

  10. Set offer usage (single use or multi-use).

  11. Add a promo code.

  12. Choose your start and end dates.

  13. Add offer details and optional disclaimer.

  14. (Optional) Pair with a text message announcement.

  15. Click Create Offer.

Special Offers are at the heart of RepeatMD’s commerce engine. They let you run promotions like percentage discounts, dollar-off savings, or BOGOs—driving urgency and immediate action in the app. Reserve these exclusive offers for app users, creating demand and loyalty that keeps patients coming back.


Step 2: Create a Custom Shop Category

  1. In the App Builder, go to the Shop Browse tab.

  2. Scroll down to Shop Categories.

  3. Click Add Custom Category.

  4. Upload a thumbnail image (recommended size: 360x360).

  5. Enter a Category Tab Name (e.g., “Fall Into Savings”).

  6. Add a Category Header and Description.

  7. Upload a Category Header Image.

  8. Add the services included in this category.

  9. Set the schedule so it matches the Special Offer’s run dates.

  10. Click Save New Custom Category.

Why Custom Shop Categories Matter

Custom categories give patients a curated experience—like a “Staff Picks” list, seasonal specials, or a membership spotlight. They’re your best tool to highlight specific treatments or promotions and make it easy for patients to browse offers in one place.


Step 3: Create a Site Wide Promotion

  1. In your Admin Panel, go to the Site Wide Promotions tab.

  2. Click Create a New Site Wide Promotion.

  3. Select the Custom Shop Category you created.

  4. Choose your location(s).

  5. Enter a title and description (e.g., “Fall Into Savings – 20% Off Lasers”).

  6. The dates will auto-fill from the Custom Shop Category.

  7. Choose whether to apply a Special Offer:

    • Add a percentage or dollar-off amount, plus a promo code.

    • Or use the promotion just for awareness (no discount).

  8. Customize your Promotion Popup:

    • Upload an image.

    • Edit title/description (pre-filled).

    • Add a CTA button (e.g., “Shop Now”).

    • Add an optional disclaimer.

  9. Toggle on the Promotion Banner for your homepage (recommended).

  10. Adjust colors for readability.

  11. Click Schedule Your Promotion.

Step 4: Create a Text Message

  1. In your Admin Panel, go to the Text Messaging tab.

  2. Click Create Text Message.

  3. Enter your copy (200-character limit).

  4. Add a CTA button with a link (e.g., “Shop Now” → Shop Screen).

  5. Enter an internal campaign name (e.g., “Summer Sale 2025”).

  6. Select the location(s).

  7. Choose your audience:

    • Active members, non-members, or all patients.

  8. Set your schedule (send immediately or at a future date/time).

  9. Preview your text on-screen or send yourself a test message.

  10. Click Schedule.
