Overview
RepeatMD onboarding happens in two parts inside the Admin Panel. Part 1 — Setup runs the first time you log in and walks through minimum configuration to reach the full product. Part 2 — the Onboarding page helps you finish remaining tasks at your own pace without blocking daily use.
This article is for practice owners, managers, and onboarding leads configuring a new RepeatMD platform. For the Lite/Professional CEM-led timeline (forms, calls, brand shipping), see Your guide to onboarding with RepeatMD (Admin Panel).
Before You Start
When your practice purchases RepeatMD, your platform is created automatically.
Many Setup fields are pre-filled from your account information. Expect to confirm details rather than enter everything from scratch.
Have ready:
Business name, address, and tax ID
Bank account information for Stripe payouts
Practice logo and brand color
Service menu (PDF, DOCX, CSV, XLSX, JPEG, or PNG — up to 5 MB per file)
You need Administrator access for Setup and Stripe steps.
Why It Matters
Finishing Setup and Onboarding page tasks in order prevents launch blockers:
Stripe setup unlocks patient checkouts and payouts.
Published services unlock AI-generated rewards and automated offers.
Team invites distribute admin work beyond a single owner.
Catalog accuracy drives correct pricing, rewards, and patient-facing shop content.
How It Works
Part 1: Setup flow (first login)
The Setup flow launches automatically the first time you log in. You move through six steps in order. Each step can be completed or skipped, but you cannot leave Setup until every step has been addressed (completed or manually skipped).
Blocking behavior: Setup must finish before you enter the full Admin Panel. Skipped steps (except where noted) can be completed later from the Onboarding page.
Step | Purpose | Skip notes |
Business Verification | Confirms legal identity (pre-filled form) | Can skip, but required before Stripe setup |
Payments (Stripe Setup) | Connect bank account for payouts | Skipped if Business Verification skipped |
Confirm Location Information | Review address, phone, contact; add location images | Multi-location practices see one card per location |
App Branding | Logo, app icon, brand color (manual or AI from website URL) | App icon optional during Setup |
Upload Your Service Menu | AI builds draft catalog from uploaded menu | Can skip; upload later from Catalog → Services |
Schedule App Walkthrough Call | Book CEM onboarding call | Last step before entering full Admin Panel |
Accept purchases before Stripe completes. You can start accepting purchases before Stripe setup is finished, but payouts do not process until Payments setup is complete.
Part 2: Onboarding page (after Setup)
After Setup, you land on the Onboarding page inside the full Admin Panel. Tasks here do not block product use — you can come and go freely.
Your scheduled App Walkthrough call and your CEM’s contact information display on this page.
Typical task order:
Review and publish services — Required first. Rewards and automated offers cannot generate until services are active.
Set up products (optional) — Add retail products via MyProducts uploader (separate from service menu extraction).
Generate and publish rewards — Unlocks after published services.
Generate and publish automated offers — Unlocks after published services.
Invite your team — Add staff with appropriate roles.
Complete payments setup — Finish Stripe and business verification if skipped during Setup.
Dismiss Onboarding page: Select Complete Onboarding when all tasks are done. Your CEM can also dismiss it on your behalf. Until then, the page remains visible as a checklist.
Catalog after Setup
Manage your catalog under Catalog → Services. Filter by Draft, Available, or Archived. Add or update services at any time.
Step-by-Step Instructions
Complete the Setup flow
Log in to the Admin Panel for the first time to launch Setup.
Business Verification: Review pre-filled legal details. Submit or skip (skipping delays Stripe).
Payments: Click through Setup Stripe Account and add bank details plus identity verification. See Set up your Stripe account (Admin Panel).
Confirm Location Information: Review each location card. Update address, phone, and contact details. Add a location image if desired.
App Branding: Enter logo, app icon, and brand color manually, or enter your website URL for AI import.
Upload Your Service Menu: Upload menu files for AI catalog extraction, or skip for later.
Schedule App Walkthrough Call: Book your CEM session.
Address any skipped steps until Setup releases you into the full Admin Panel.
Finish Onboarding page tasks
Open the Onboarding page from the Admin Panel home or navigation.
Review and publish services: Open draft items from your menu upload. Fill missing details. Publish to Available.
Set up products (optional): Upload retail products if you sell products in-app.
Generate and publish rewards: Run AI reward generation after services are live. Review and publish.
Generate and publish automated offers: Same dependency on published services.
Invite your team: Add front desk and coordinators with appropriate access levels.
Complete payments setup: Finish Business Verification and Stripe if skipped in Setup.
Click Complete Onboarding when finished.
Upload or update your menu later
Go to Catalog → Services.
Click Upload Your Services (or equivalent upload control).
Add files without returning to the Setup flow.
Best Practices and Pro Tips
Do not skip Business Verification if you plan to accept in-app payments. Stripe setup depends on it.
Publish services before generating rewards. AI rewards reference real catalog items.
Invite the front desk early. Practices with one admin often bottleneck after go-live.
Use AI menu upload for speed, manual entry for gaps. If the AI misses a service, add it manually in Catalog → Services.
Book your App Walkthrough call during Setup so your CEM can review branding and welcome offers while context is fresh.
Common Mistakes and FAQs
Q: What happens if I skip Stripe during Setup?
A: You can accept purchases, but payouts wait until Stripe setup finishes. Complete it from the Onboarding page. Business Verification must be done first — if you skipped verification, finish that before Stripe.
Q: Why are Rewards and Automated Offers locked?
A: Both generate from your active service catalog. Without published services, there is nothing to reference. They unlock automatically after you publish services.
Q: What if the AI missed a service from my menu upload?
A: Add it manually from Catalog → Services. The AI skips ambiguous or thinly described items. Confirm the service was clearly listed in your uploaded file.
Q: Can I upload my menu after initial Setup?
A: Yes. Use Upload Your Services from Catalog → Services without re-entering Setup.
Q: Can I leave Setup without finishing every step?
A: No. Every step must be completed or manually skipped before Setup releases you. Skipped items remain on the Onboarding page.
Q: What is the difference between Setup and the Onboarding page?
A: Setup blocks first entry to the full Admin Panel until addressed. The Onboarding page is a non-blocking checklist you can complete over time.
Q: Who dismisses the Onboarding page?
A: You click Complete Onboarding, or your CEM dismisses it after finishing tasks on your behalf.
