Introduction to RepeatMD Lite (Admin Panel)

Learn what the RepeatMD Lite plan includes, which features are unavailable, and when to upgrade as your practice grows.

Overview

RepeatMD Lite is an entry-tier plan that gives your practice core loyalty and communication tools at a lower price point. Lite includes Rewards, Automated Offers, Text Messaging, and Friend-to-Friend Referrals — enough to launch a patient rewards program without the full MedCommerce suite.

This article is for practice owners and managers on the Lite plan or evaluating whether Lite fits their needs.

Before You Start

  • Plan tier is set at purchase. Your CSM or account representative can confirm which plan you are on.

  • Some Admin Panel areas are hidden or disabled on Lite through feature toggles — this is expected, not a configuration error.

  • For the full onboarding timeline (forms, calls, brand shipping), see Your guide to onboarding with RepeatMD (Admin Panel).

Why It Matters

Choosing the right plan prevents frustration:

  • Lite is designed to start simple — rewards, offers, and texting without Shop, Memberships, or RepeatCash complexity.

  • Knowing what’s excluded helps your team avoid searching for features that require an upgrade.

  • Upgrading is straightforward when you are ready for in-app sales, memberships, or campaigns.

How It Works

Feature toggles: RepeatMD uses toggles to control which Admin Panel sections and Patient App features are visible on Lite. Toggles are managed by RepeatMD — not something you enable yourself in Settings.

Best Practices and Pro Tips

  • Maximize Lite before upgrading. Build your rewards program, automated offers, and referral flow first — they drive engagement even without Shop.

  • Train your front desk on what’s not in the app. Patients on Lite cannot purchase memberships or shop in-app; set expectations at check-in.

  • Use referrals and sign-up rewards to grow your patient base while you evaluate an upgrade.

  • Review plan fit annually. If patients frequently ask to buy services in the app, Professional may be worth the investment.

Common Mistakes and FAQs

Q: Why don’t I see Shop or Memberships in my Admin Panel?

A: Those features are not included on the Lite plan. Upgrade to Professional or Executive to unlock them.

Q: Can I enable RepeatCash on Lite?

A: No. RepeatCash requires a higher-tier plan.

Q: Is Affirm available on Lite?

A: Yes, when the Enable Affirm toggle is active on your account. Patients can finance eligible purchases if your plan and Affirm setup support it.

Q: How do I upgrade from Lite?

A: Contact your CEM or account representative. They will walk you through plan options and migration timing.

Q: Does Lite include the downloadable Patient App?

A: Yes. Patients can download MyRepeat: Patient Rewards and use rewards, check-ins, and referrals. Shop and membership purchase flows are not available until you upgrade.
