Introducing another way to redeem rewards.

Updated over a week ago

What is RepeatCash?

Every one of your patients is different, so it’s safe to say that not every reward will excite every patient the same way.

To make every unlocked reward valuable to every patient, a patient has the option to convert their unlocked reward to a dollar amount that you set.

 How does it work?

  1. Your patient has unlocked a reward.

  2. They can choose to either redeem it, or convert it into a value of RepeatCash that you set.

  3. Once converted, the RepeatCash will populate in different areas throughout the patient's experience to remind them it’s there for them to use towards a future in-app purchase.

  4. Specifically, if a patient has RepeatCash available, it will show up when they are checking out as an option to apply it towards their purchase.

💡Pro tips:

RepeatCash is non-transferable to other practices and must be used towards an in-app purchase for the medical spa the patient unlocked the reward from.

Additionally, once converted RepeatCash cannot be shared with a family member or friend. Only unlocked rewards can be shared with family or friends.

How should I think about setting up my RepeatCash?

💡Pro tip:

The value of your RepeatCash doesn’t need to be equivalent to the actual value of an unlocked reward… It should be a dollar amount you as a company are OK with a patient putting towards a future purchase.

Start by looking at your Rewards program:

We always tell practices that their Rewards Program is an opportunity to showcase all the different services you offer to help broaden the horizons of your patients.

If you're doing this, the pricing and value of those services can vary depending on what it is.

On your app, we recommend a pre-set value of $25 in RepeatCash for each unlocked reward.

From there, here are your options:

  • Do nothing and have every unlocked reward be valued at $25

  • You can have the value increase or decrease per unlocked reward at any increment you're comfortable with as a business

For example:

Med Spa 1:

Has every reward valued at $25 RepeatCash.

Med Spa 2:

Has the RepeatCash value increase by $5 as the incentive gets better.

💡Pro tip:

You can also turn it off for individual rewards.

Although not recommended, you can turn off RepeatCash and not offer it in your Rewards program at all.

Aesthetic practices aren't one-size-fits-all, so it's important you work with your team to identify what is going to benefit your practice and your patients.

RepeatCash FAQs:

  1. What is RepeatCash?

    • RepeatCash allows patients to convert rewards into cash to spend on their next in-app purchase or bank for a later purchase.

  2. What is the default value of RepeatCash for an unlocked reward?

    • We recommend the default value of RepeatCash be set at $25 per unlocked reward. The default value can be easily changed by your CS.

    • Additionally, you can set up RepeatCash value per unlocked Reward directly in your Admin panel.

  3. Can I make updates to my RepeatCash value?

    • You can individually make updates to any RepeatCash values when editing your Reward tiers.

  4. How do I know how to designate a dollar amount to an unlocked reward?

    • It’s simple - it’s whatever dollar amount you are comfortable with a patient putting towards another purchase on your app.

  5. If I don’t want to offer RepeatCash, can I turn this feature off?

    • Yes, just contact your CSS and they will disable RepeatCash on your app.

    • You can also turn off RepeatCash so it's only available for some rewards, but not all.

  6. I don’t see RepeatCash offered on our app. Do you know why?

    • If you have migrated from V1 to V2, you will have to ask your CSS to manually turn on RepeatCash for it to be available to your patients.

  7. If I make an update to a RepeatCash value, how does that affect my patients who have unlocked the reward?

    • It will only update for your patients if they have not already converted the unlocked reward into RepeatCash.

  8. Can a patient spend their RepeatCash at a different practice?

    • No. If a reward has been converted into RepeatCash from an unlocked reward provided by your practice, it can only be applied to an in-app purchase for your practice.

  9. Can a patient use RepeatCash in our physical location?

    • No, RepeatCash is only applicable in the app to drive app order conversion.

  10. Can I change the name of RepeatCash to be [BUSINESSNAME]Cash?

    • No. RepeatCash is a RepeatMD feature that you cannot customize to your practice.
