Easily communicate to your patients via text with Text Messaging in the MedCommerce Engine on Admin Panel.
Note: This feature was previously referred to as an "SMS Blast" and has since been renamed to "Text Messaging"
To send an text message...
1. Log into your Admin Dashboard.
2. Navigate to MedCommerce Engine section on the left-side of your screen.
3. Click on ‘Text Messaging'.
4. Click the green lighting bolt in the top right of your screen and select 'Create text message'.
5. Type in the message you would like to send.
💡We do not currently support audience segmentation so this message will go out to all of your app users that have opted into your text messaging program.
6. You can auto populate your shortened link with or without a 'call to action' or CTA- to link without a CTA, select the last option 'None'.
💡These short links have been added to your account by your CSS or during onboarding. If you do not see this option, please contact Support to add them on your behalf!
7. Create an internal campaign name that is easy for you and your team to identify.
8. Select the valid location(s) you would like this message to be sent to if you are a multi-location practice.
9. You can chose to send the message now or schedule for a later day/time.
10. Check out your message preview and provide your phone number to receive a test message test.
11. Once you have confirmed the text message is ready to send, click 'Schedule' in the bottom right of your screen.
