Applying for eligible promotions at the point of checkout
Patients will be able to see any available promotions they can put towards their purchase. Promotions are displayed in a way that lets patients compare retail prices against membership prices to ensure clarity and informed choices.
Promotions will show expected savings to ensure patients choose the most lucrative offer. For promotions configured as 'in-app,' both retail and discounted membership prices are displayed side-by-side, aiding patients in making decisions based on visible savings.
The patient must fit at least one of the following criteria to have discounts to choose from in cart:
The patient must have earned a reward and/or be eligible for a live Special or Automated Offer
If the discount applies to a specific service(s), that specific service(s) must be in their cart
The discount hasn't already been used by that patient
Only one discount or promotional offer can be applied per transaction, ensuring patients select the most valuable option among those available.
💡Pro tip:
Discounts cannot be stacked. If they have multiple discounts available to them, they can choose which discount they'd like to apply to that purchase before finalizing their purchase.
If they are enrolled in a Membership and have no eligible offers available to them, the Membership discount will automatically update in their cart.
If multiple promotions are live and a patient chooses a promotion that doesn't save them the most money, a pop-up will appear asking them to confirm they want to use that promotion versus one that would save them more money.
In scenarios where membership pricing has been applied, rewards such as monetary credits are excluded, requiring the patient to choose between options at checkout.
