We know how important timing can feel when you’re getting into a rhythm with your program — and how frustrating it can be when your lessons drop at a time that doesn’t quite fit your daily routine. So if you’re wondering whether you can change your lesson release time, here’s the honest answer:
Lesson release times are automatically set
Your daily lessons are released at the same time each day, based on the time you placed your original order. So if you signed up at 8:30am, your lessons will continue to be released around 8:30am each day, give or take a few minutes. Unfortunately, this time is fixed and can’t be changed.
But — there’s good news...
All re:sleep programs come with built-in flexibility. We’ve designed them with a little buffer time (1-week buffer for our shortest 3-month program, 3-months buffer for our 6-month program and 9-months buffer for our 12-month program) so that you can take a step away for a short period if you need, go on holiday, weather illness...and this also means you don’t have to complete each lesson the moment its released.
If your lessons drop at a slightly inconvenient time it’s absolutely fine to wait and do your lesson the next day instead. In fact, if your lessons release close to bedtime, this is exactly what we would recommend you do! Sleep retraining is best done during the daytime when you're more relaxed, clear-headed and not getting ready for bed. The last thing we want is for the lessons to increase your focus on sleep just before you’re trying to switch off for the night. By waiting to do your lessons the next morning or afternoon you’ll be less than a day behind and with the added buffer in your membership, will still have ample time to finish the program.
This isn’t a race to the finish line!
We completely understand the urge to power through as quickly as possible - when you’re struggling with sleep, you just want it fixed. But sleep retraining isn’t about speed - it’s about lasting change.
The goal isn’t just to get through the lessons - it’s to make sure you never have to do them again in future. For this, changing our mindset around our goals is very useful. Try to picture what life will be like when you no longer suffer from being awake in the night or feeling exhausted during the day and take out any expectations of specific timeframes within which you must reach this goal. It will take as long as it takes, but every step you now make is in the right direction!
We want you to take your time. To move through the program at a pace that feels right and manageable. To pause and breathe if you need to. To go back and repeat something that didn’t quite land the first time. That’s how real, sustainable progress happens — not in a rush, but with intention. That's why adding in a day’s lag when needed is not a setback, it’s a smart, strategic move that supports your success!
