How to Connect HubSpot to Retention.com

Connect your HubSpot account so contacts can sync to your email platform automatically.

Before you begin

You'll need a HubSpot Private App access token (it starts with pat-) and a static list where contacts should be added. Make sure your private app has the required scopes: crm.objects.contacts.write, crm.schemas.contacts.write, crm.lists.write, crm.lists.read, crm.schemas.contacts.read, crm.objects.contacts.read.

💡 Previously got an error connecting HubSpot? The integration has been updated to use HubSpot's current API. If you tried before and it failed, retry now — it should work.

Connect HubSpot

  1. Log in to Retention.com

  2. Go to Settings → Integrations → HubSpot

  3. Enter your Private App access token (starts with pat-) and choose the list

  4. Complete setup

Avoid paying for contacts you already have
