How do Group Discounts work? (Cancel group discounts)

The Cancel group discounts feature ensures that promotional product discounts are recalculated correctly when customers return items.

This feature is available for merchants on the Premium plan.

In Shopify, you can create product discounts such as:

If a customer returns part of a discounted order, Returbo can automatically adjust the refund so the discount is applied fairly.

Without this feature, a customer could:

Once activated, Returbo will automatically adjust discounts where applicable.

Example:

A customer uses the discount code “2GET1FOR50%”, which gives 50% off the third item in their order.

If the customer returns items, the refund depends on which item is returned.

This ensures that the discount only applies if the customer keeps the required items for the promotion.

If a customer exchanges a non-discounted item and you later convert the exchange into a refund, the discount reversal will still be applied.
