Returbo integrates with Bundles.app, a Shopify app that allows you to create product bundles and manage bundle inventory.
This integration is available for merchants on the Premium plan.
What does the integration do?
When enabled, Returbo can correctly handle bundle items during returns and exchanges.
You can choose whether:
Returbo should update bundle inventory automatically
Or you prefer to manage inventory yourself (for example, if you use a WMS)
Step 1: Activate the Integration in Returbo
Open the Returbo app
Go to Settings → Integrations → Other
Locate Bundles.app
Click the gray slider to activate the integration
Choose Inventory Handling
After activating the integration, select:
Let Returbo update bundle inventory automatically, or
Handle bundle inventory yourself
Choose the option that matches your inventory setup.
Step 2: Grant Returbo Access in Bundles.app
You must also enable the integration inside Bundles.app.
Go to the Bundles.app dashboard
Navigate to Settings → Integrations → Returbo
Click the slider to give Returbo access
Make sure that order-level metafields are activated.
This allows Returbo to correctly read bundle information.
Step 3: Enable order edit
You must enable order edit for Returbo to be able to edit orders and see the items in the bundle.
Go to the Bundles.app dashboard
Navigate to Settings → Order Edit
Click on the slide and turn on Order Editing
This will make all components visible inside the Shopify order, with a value of $0.
Important
The integration must be activated in both Returbo and Bundles.app.
Bundles must already be created in Bundles.app before enabling the integration.
This feature is only available on the Premium and Enterprise plans.
If Order Edit has not been on for old orders, Returbo will not be able to process these orders as the components of the order will not be visible for us.
Summary
To enable the Returbo & Bundles.app integration:
Activate it in Returbo
Choose your inventory handling preference
Grant access inside Bundles.app
Ensure order-level metafields are enabled
Turn on Order Edit.
Once completed, Returbo will correctly manage bundle items during returns and exchanges.
