To set up Ongoing with Returbo, you need to configure some settings in Ongoing and set up two webhooks. This guide will go over how to configure these settings so you can get started with Ongoing.
Requirements
You need to have the Ongoing app installed to your Shopify store. You can find the app here: Ongoing WMS Shopify app store'
Disable Orders Returned to Ongoing
Open the Shopify Ongoing WMS application. You find the application by going to your Apps in Shopify → Ongoing WMS.
Log in to your Ongoing WMS account.
Navigate to Administration → Integrations
(Optional) Search for “Integrations” using the search bar.
On the Integrations page, a list of integrations will be displayed.
Scroll down to the option “Send information about fulfillments and returns to Shopify” and untick the highlighted checkbox.
Scroll to the bottom of the page and click the Update button.
Disable Schedule reporting of return orders
Open the Shopify Ongoing WMS application. You find the application by going to your Apps in Shopify → Ongoing WMS.
Log in to your Ongoing WMS account.
Navigate to Administration → Integrations
(OPTIONAL) Search for “Integrations” using the search bar
On the Integrations page, a list of integrations will be displayed.
Scroll down to the option “Send information about fulfillments and returns to Shopify” and untick the highlighted check.
Scroll to the bottom of the page and click the Update button.
Webhooks
Item Received Webhook:
By creating “an item received” webhook, the Returbo app will be notified when the item is returned/scrapped using Ongoing scanning terminal or return functionality. Once all items of the return order are returned, items in Returbo return request will be marked as received.
To create scanning webhook, follow below steps:
Open the Shopify Ongoing WMS application. You find the application by going to your Apps in Shopify → Ongoing WMS.
Log in to your Ongoing WMS account.
Navigate to Administration → Webhooks
(OPTIONAL) Or search for “Webhooks” using the search bar.
Click on the Create new regular webhook button
Scroll down to Picking, packing and returns and select Article is returned
Upon selecting the webhook type, a form will be displayed. Scroll to the Authentication section and select Fixed X-Auth-Token as the authentication type. To get the value for the token field - Contact support@returbo.io
Scroll down to Additional HTTP headers section. In the input enter store-domain:<<store-name>>.myshopify.com, replace <<store-name>> with your actual store name.
For example store-domain:tersin-staging.myshopify.com
You can find your store name by going to Shopify → Setting down in the left corner in your Shopify store and then in the upper left corner you will see your shop name and the Shopify URL.
💡NOTE: The name and the Shopify URL name may not always be the same.
Under Settings, select Retry Policy” as One day. In the URL field enter
Scroll to the bottom of the page and click the Create button.
Order Status Changed Webhook:
(Only required for Auto Payment Processing)
By creating the order status change webhook, the Returbo app will be notified when order status is changed to “Returned” using Ongoing’s return functionality.
Once the status changes to “Returned”, Returbo will process the refund for any return orders in which all items have been returned.
Open the Shopify Ongoing WMS application. You find the application by going to your Apps in Shopify → Ongoing WMS.
Log in to your Ongoing WMS account.
Navigate to Administration → Webhooks
(OPTIONAL) Or search for “Webhooks” using the search bar.
Click on the Create new regular webhook button
Under Order select Order Status is changed.
After selecting the webhook type, a form will be displayed. Scroll to to the Status section and select the Status after as Returned [Retunerad (800)]
Scroll to the Authentication section and select Fixed X-Auth-Token as the authentication type. To get the value for the token field - Contact support@returbo.io
Scroll down to Additional HTTP headers section. In the input enter store-domain:<<store-name>>.myshopify.com, replace <<store-name>> with your actual store name.
