Charge speed is a function of many different factors. Your maximum charge speed is determined by your vehicle’s manufacturer. Depending on the battery health, state of charge, and temperature, your vehicle’s battery management system (BMS) might request different amounts of power from our chargers.
You might notice that charging speed decreases significantly when your battery level is around the 80% mark. This is expected — Lithium-ion batteries charge fastest when they are nearly empty and slow down as they approach 100%.
Of course, it's possible that there's an issue with one of our chargers! You may report an issue in the Revel Charging app.
