Why can’t I charge my Tesla?

Updated over 2 weeks ago

Teslas must have CCS compatibility to charge with our NACS cables. To check, navigate to 'Controls' -> 'Software' -> 'Additional Vehicle Information' on your vehicle’s control screen. The data shown should indicate if “CCS adapter support” is installed on your Tesla.

Pre-2019 Tesla’s may require a retrofit and/or a software update. Please contact Tesla for further assistance.

Our Bed-Stuy charging site has two chargers (#24 and #25) with CHAdeMO plugs. Vehicles without CCS compatibility can use Tesla-CHAdeMO adapters on these plugs.
