You'll Need:
An active ALOHA account.
A draft text or email template you want to review.
Access to the email address or phone number originally used to open your ALOHA account.

Test a Saved SMS Message
โ Test a Saved SMS Message
Testing a Saved SMS Message works a little differently than other templates. Because these are often sent manually, you will test them by sending one to your own profile.
Create and Save your SMS message under Contacts > Saved Messages.
Navigate to Contacts > Conversations.
Search for your own name to find the test profile associated with your personal phone number.
Click the Pencil Icon โ๏ธ located next to the text message typing box.
Select your Saved Message from the list and send it.
Check your phone to see exactly how it looks!

For all other text templates (like Birthday Campaigns, Feedback Requests, or Appointment Reminders), follow these standard steps:
Open the template editor and type your message.
Scroll to the bottom of the screen to find the testing section.
Click โSave/Send Test SMS.โ
Note: ALOHA automatically sends this test to the phone number registered to the account owner. You cannot manually enter a different number here. To change this number contact ALOHA support.
Check your phone. You should receive the message within a few seconds.

This process applies to ALL email templates, whether they are for campaigns or individual messages.
Write your email content in the editor as you normally would.
Scroll to the bottom of the screen to find the testing section..
Click the Save/Send Test Email button to send the proof.
Note: Just like with the standard text test, this email is sent exclusively to the email address on file for the ALOHA account holder.
Check your inbox. Your test email should arrive quickly!
