Sending texts to your patients is easy and fast with ALOHA Convos. This guide will show you how to manage all your patient messages in one place, whether you're looking at the full page or just using the quick sidebar while you work.

✅ Getting Started with Your Inbox
ALOHA gives you two ways to talk to patients. You can use the Sidebar Panel (through the chat bubble
icon) to message while you work on other tasks, or the Full Conversations Page (the "Convos" tab in the left menu) for a bigger view.

Note: You can only use one view at a time. If you are using the full-page view, the sidebar option will be hidden, and vice versa.
Find your conversation: Use the search bar to type a patient's name or phone number. You can also use the filters at the top to see only Unread, Saved or Archived messages.
Compose your message: Click the text field at the bottom. Type your message just like a normal text. If you need to start a new line without sending the message yet, press Shift + Enter.
Add an image: If you need to send a photo, click the Image icon. Just make sure the file is 16 MB or smaller.
Choose when to send: Click Send to deliver it immediately, or click Send Later to pick a specific date and time for the message to go out.
Leave a team note: Click the Note icon to write a message that only your staff can see. These appear with a document icon so you can tell them apart from texts.
Stay organized: When a conversation is finished, hover over it in your list and click the Archive icon (it looks like a small box). This hides it from your main list but keeps it safe in the Archived tab if you need it later.

Your sent messages appear in the chat thread with a blue dot or timestamp.
You are able so successfully archive conversations after you have responded.
Your unread badge (the little number on the icon) clears as you reply to patients.
Internal notes appear with a document icon, showing they are private to your team.
