Prerequisites/You'll Need:
The Aloha Desktop App installed on your computer.
Your Aloha account login information.
β Get Started with Our Desktop Texting
Follow these steps to turn your desktop app into your patient messaging center. Once you're all set up, you'll be able to handle all patient messages from one easy-to-use app.
Step 1: Download and Install the App
Log in to your Aloha account using your regular credentials.
Navigate to the Gear icon (βοΈ) and then to Integrations.
Scroll down to the "Other Integrations" section.
Click the dropdown menu and select the option for your phone provider. This will show you the download options for the Desktop App.
Choose the download that matches your computer (Windows or Mac).
Step 2: Log in to the Desktop App
Open the Desktop App after it finishes installing.
Sign in using the same email and password you use for your Aloha account. You don't need a separate account to log in.
Step 3: Start Texting Patients
Look for the message icon in the bottom right corner of the app.
Click the message icon to open your inbox. You'll see the same patient messages you have in your Aloha account.
Select any message to reply to a patient. The conversation will open up just like a text message on your phone.
Type and send your response. All of your messages will sync automatically with Aloha and stay in the patient's profile.
