Setting up and customizing your Reviews Badge allows you to display your positive patient review directly on your website to build trust with visitors. This guide will walk you through configuring your badge appearance, including position, review filters, and custom accent colors, as well as embedding it onto your site. Use this guide whenever you are setting up a new Reviews Badge or updating your badge configuration and styling.
Prerequisites
Connected Google, Facebook, and/or Yelp integrations to ensure your reviews are pulled into Aloha.
Access to your practice website editor to embed or update the badge script or the contact information for your web team.
Step-by-Step Guide: Setting Up and Customizing Your Reviews Badge
Click Settings in the left navigation menu.
Select Integrations from the left sub-menu.
Locate the Reviews Badge card and click Add to Site.
In the Configure window, adjust your badge options:
Badge Position: Click the dropdown to select where the badge sits on your website (e.g., Bottom Left, Bottom Right, etc).
Time until viewable after closing: Select how long the badge remains hidden if a user closes it (e.g., On Page Load, After 30 Minutes, etc).
Badge Accent Color: Click the color picker box to select a custom color, or type a hex code directly (e.g., #ff5500 or #281661) to match your practice brand.
Display Reviews of Type(s): Select which platforms to include (e.g., Google, Facebook, etc).
Minimum Review Rating: Choose the minimum rating threshold (e.g., All Ratings, 5 Stars Only, etc).
All Reviews: Select Yes to display all reviews matching your criteria, or No to set a limit for most recent reviews.
Number of Reviews (if All Reviews is set to No): Select the review count to show (e.g., 3 Reviews, 5 Reviews, etc). Selecting a specific number limits the widget to displaying only your most recent reviews rather than all-time.
Include Reviews Schema: Select Yes or No to inject reviews schema into your page for improved SEO.
Click Next: Get Code at the bottom of the modal.
Click Copy Code to copy the generated script snippet to your clipboard.
Paste the copied code snippet into the footer of your website or forward to your web team to place it for you.
Click Done to close the configurator.

No, custom accent colors are designed specifically for the Reviews Badge widget. If you are using the Inline Reviews, you will set that up separately under Settings > Integrations, and it does not share the Reviews Badge color configurator.

Updating your settings generates a brand-new code snippet. Because existing site code does not update automatically, you will need to go to Settings > Integrations > Reviews Badge, click Add to Site, complete your setup, click Next: Get Code, copy the new script, and replace the old embed code on your website.

No. The badge uses the default orange accent color automatically. If you prefer that look, you can leave the Badge Accent Color field untouched when generating your code snippet, or leave your existing badge embed code on your site as is.
