What You Might Notice | Why It's Happening | What to Do |
I clicked "Send Email" but never received the email. | The email may have gone to your spam or junk folder. It's also possible there was a typo in the email address entered. | First, please check your spam/junk folder. If it's not there, go through the process again, double-checking that the email address is spelled correctly before sending. |
I installed the code, but the widget isn't showing up correctly on my website. | The code may have been pasted into the wrong place, or your website's platform (like WordPress, Squarespace, etc.) might require a specific "HTML" or "Code" block. | This is an issue with how the code is being placed on your website. You will need to contact your website developer or your website platform's support for assistance on how to correctly embed third-party embed codes. |
The widget is on my site, but it isn't showing my very latest reviews. | The widget's content is cached to ensure it loads quickly on your site. It automatically updates, but it is not instantaneous. | Please allow up to 24 hours for new reviews to cycle into the website widget. You can also try clearing your browser's cache to see if a newer version appears. See our guide: How to Clear Your Browser Cache. |
I enabled the 'Display review authors by initials in all embeds' toggle, but my website still shows full names. | The settings possibly were not saved or not enough time has passed. The update takes a few minutes to process. | First, ensure you click Save Settings at the below the Global Review Embed section. Then, please allow 5 minutes for the update to complete. After that, you may need to clear your browser's cache to see the new format reflected on your live site. |
